By now, all regular variants are supposed to be there. Some operator variants may still be missing...

Re: hello N96 - sigh! still no update for me. The frequency of...

hi - i know about debranding - as i did it with my t mobile N95. But my issue is with doing it on a brand new handset - that was bought sim free direct from nokia - its not locked/branded to any network.

so i SHOULD be getting updates - but its not. Also I want this blog to be a representative of a general user experience as possible. Though for that i really should have a network branded set - as thats what 90% of users will have.

thanks for the reply though as many readers will find it extremely useful.

Re: hello N96 - sigh! still no update for me. The frequency of...

to get an update, u need to debrand you phone, cause when you buy a phone, usually its branded to optus, or vodafone or something
so search up nemesis service suite in google, and download it from bphreaks and look for a guide on how to debrand it, and then update your phone
the n96 is way better after the update, trust me ;)

p.s. if you're having trouble with nemesis service suite picking up your phone when you click find, then you have to either uninstall nokia nseries pc suite, or do the debranding on a computer without nokia nseries pc suite
